Payment Terms and Conditions
Maryland Newspapers LLC offers memberships to its news website products, enabling paying members the ability to access premium content, plus access to write publicly viewable comments on current articles posted on our websites.
Membership fees are non-refundable. While memberships may be canceled at any time, such cancellations only prevent the next recurring charge from processing.
Maryland Newspapers LLC offers three membership levels.
- One week trial membership
- Monthly membership
- Annual membership
The monthly and annual memberships are charged on a recurring basis. To prevent an automatic charge from processing, the member must cancel the membership at least five days before the next billing cycle.
The one-week membership is not recurring, but rather a one-time payment for a a limited time membership.
Payment Instructions
Maryland Newspapers LLC uses the PayPal Gateway to collect membership payments. Members are not required to have a PayPal account for payment processing. Paypal accepts both PayPal payments and debit and credit card payments.
WARNING: The PayPal payment portal is designed by PayPal in a way to encourage purchasers to use an existing PayPal account or create a new one. Many of our incoming members prefer to use a debit card or credit card. Maryland Newspapers LLC wants you to choose your method of payment without confusion. You can avoid inadvertently choosing PayPal by simply moving through the portal carefully, answering all prompts correctly. Resolving Problems
Any member experiencing a technical issue or having any other concerns needing resolution should contact us at info@guilfordgazette.com. Someone from our team will respond within 24 hours.
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland.
Jurisdiction
Disagreements and disputes leading to litigation shall be heard in the appropriate court(s) in Howard County, in the State of Maryland.
