The MLAW fall conference will be held in-person on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at The Meeting House in Columbia, MD.
This year’s conference celebrates MLAW’s 30th year of advocating for progressive legislation and policy that promotes and protects the wellbeing of Maryland women and their families and provides them opportunities to develop their full potential.
The Conference will provide information and strategies to activate and energize participants to successfully advocate for legislation impacting women and families during the 2025 Maryland General Assembly Session.
Join us to:
· Hear from our speaker(s), TBD, about the state of women in Maryland and throughout the country
· Gain valuable insights from Advocates and Legislators presenting 2025 Legislative Proposals
· Network with other MLAW supporters from around Maryland about these important issues.
· Celebrate 30 years of advocacy!
This year, we will present the Legislative Leadership Award to Ariana Kelly, former Maryland State Senator and current Executive Director of the Maryland Commission for Women.
