Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center will hold free, virtual Living Well classes for people living with diabetes and their caregivers. Living Well with Diabetes: Toolkit is a six-week, phone-based workshop for anyone with diabetes or at risk of developing diabetes and will teach self-management skills, including goal setting and stress management, understanding glucose monitoring, skin and foot care, techniques to cope with frustration, fatigue, pain and isolation, communication skills and exercise and nutrition. Participants will receive free toolkits consisting of a workbook, exercise audio program, self-test and booklet of tip sheets.
