ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County Executive Calvin Ball to host a public forum for federal government employees living in Howard County to come talk openly, share experiences, and gather resources surrounding President Donald Trump administration’s buyout proposal. The proposed buyouts are for all full-time federal employees, except for military personnel, employees of the U.S. Postal Service, and those in positions related to immigration enforcement and national security.
“Given our prime Washington-Baltimore metropolitan location, award-winning, state-of-the-art amenities and facilities, stellar school system, and thriving population, it’s no wonder many federal government employees call Howard County home,” said Ball. “As we watch our neighbors, friends, and family try to navigate this trying time, it is our duty to ensure they are seen, heard, valued, and respected, and have the support they need to succeed.”
