Howard County, Maryland – March 5, 2025 – Howard County Soccer Alumni and Get on the Bus leaders, Tim Ryerson and Brian Boussy, are excited to announce the 2025 Howard County Homecoming Gala, a special event dedicated to supporting the work of Get On the Bus in Howard County.
Get On the Bus breaks down financial-and-transportation barriers so that kids can play grassroots soccer on a team in their community, while ensuring participants have an opportunity to learn valuable life skills, good study habits, and access to healthy snacks all through the free GOTB after-school program which services Title 1 schools to ensure Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging. The gala will take place on April 12th at Turf Valley, offering an evening of entertainment, inspiration, and community support.
Guests will enjoy great food and drinks, a chance to mingle with past HOCO soccer legends and coaches, music, a raffle and more. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit eight Title I schools in Howard County participating in the Get on the Bus Program, helping us continue our mission to create equitable opportunities for children to play soccer and live healthy lives.
