Howard County police are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing elderly woman in Columbia.

Yuk Fong Yeung, 69, was last seen leaving her residence in the 6000 block of Majors Lane at 11 a.m. yesterday on foot. Family reported her missing at 10:30 p.m. Family and police are concerned for her wellbeing due to age-related health concerns and cold overnight temperatures.

Officers have been searching throughout the night using drones, K9s, extensive foot patrols, and area checks, but have been unable to locate her.

Yeung is described as an Asian female, approximately five feet three inches tall and 100 pounds and was last seen wearing a white knee length coat, blue button up shirt, and dark pants. She does not have a cell phone with her and does not drive.

Anyone who sees Yeung should call 911.
