Dear Democrats:  A Moment of Reflection of Why You’re Here

Letter to the Editor

As Trump, a symbol of Democratic failures, is sworn in, it’s time to remember that even though Trump is probably the most selfish politician ever elected, Biden tore down the Democratic Party in his own bout of selfishness.  He ran on a promise to build a bridge to the new upcoming Democratic generation to lead the party, but instead succumbed to the delusion of grandeur that the power of the office held.

Many forget most of the failings of Biden from having to change up his uncomfortable touching of women and children’s shoulders to closing the border from reporters trying to keep everyone in the dark as to how he was handling the border.  And to attempt to pull out of Afghanistan and blame the plan on Trump when Democrats are terrible in messaging.  And leading right up to Trump’s inauguration, you see Biden acting bitter and dividing the party almost as badly as Trump divided the nation.

The party needs a massive overhaul.  Heck, even thinking about the term “Democrats” and the checkered history of the “Dixiecrat”, it seems like a good time to think about change in every way possible.  Selfishness and self-interest has ironically torn down a party that messaged on unity and hope.

It’s time to “wake up” and change.
