ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County Department of Public Works’ (DPW) Stormwater Management Division will hold a community outreach meeting on Thursday, February 6th at 6:00 p.m., at Linden Hall, located at 4765 Dorsey Hall Drive in Ellicott City, to discuss a project to repair the Temora Manor stormwater management pond behind 4312 Temora Manor Lane in Ellicott City.

The proposed project will include the replacement of the old metal outlet spillway with a concrete outlet structure, that has a longer lifespan and will bring the pond into compliance with current Maryland Department of Environment requirements. The project is scheduled to commence construction in fall 2025 and weather permitting, is expected to be completed in spring 2026.

The informal meeting will include an overview of the design, followed by a question-and-answer session. County staff and the project’s design consultant will be on hand to answer any questions and gather public comments.

Those unable to attend the meeting who would like to view the plans and/or have questions, should contact Avinash Dewani with DPW’s Stormwater Management Division at 410-313-6417 or email adewani@howardcountymd.gov.
