An employee reported that a male suspect with his face partially covered entered the business, pepper sprayed the employee, and stole cash before fleeing. No serious injuries were reported.

Columbia, 21044: JCPenney, 10300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway, Sept. 28 2:45 p.m.
Store employees reported a male suspect exited the store without paying for his items. Officers located the suspect and arrested him.

Hanover, 21076: 7400 block of Saint Margarets Boulevard, Sept. 28 4:54 p.m.
A juvenile male victim reported that he arranged online to sell handbags and when meeting at the agreed upon location, three male suspects implied they had a gun and stole the bags before fleeing. No one was injured.

5000 block of Thunder Hill Road, Sept. 28 4:20 p.m.
A resident reported that a male suspect entered an open garage and stole food items. Police responded, located the suspect, and arrested him. Charges are pending.
